Der gemeinnützige Verein Yehudi Mehuhin Live Music Now Köln e.V. (LMN) organisiert Konzerte in sozialen Einrichtungen für Menschen, die nicht in der Lage sind, öffentliche Konzerte zu besuchen. Hierfür werden in regelmäßigen Abständen geeignete Musikstudierende von einer Jury, bestehend aus Professoren der HfMT Köln und dem Anhörungsausschuss von LMN Köln, ausgesucht.

Die Audition dient der Auswahl von hochbegabten jungen Musikern für das Förderprogramm von Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now.  Die letzte Audition fand am 5./6.November 2022 statt. Der Termin für die nächste Audition wird im Sommer 2023 bekanntgegeben.

Generelle Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme an einer LMN Audition

• Alter bis 26 Jahre (auch im Ensemble)
• Immatrikulation an der HfMT Köln/Aachen/Wuppertal
• Hohe künstlerische Reife im Sinne Yehudi Menuhins
• Empathie für Menschen in sozialen Einrichtungen
• Fähigkeit, flexibel und interaktiv mit dem Publikum zu kommunizieren
• Bereitschaft, mit anderen Musikern von LMN zu musizieren
• ausreichende Deutschkenntnisse
